Happy Wednesday and blog post day!!! I wanted to share this specific post today because I’ve been showing so many salads on my @AskheatherMariannaBlog Insta stories! After receiving so many DMs of “yum, yum, yum”, I wanted to show you exactly how I make these delicious salads. I’m going to list all ingredients I use, down to the salad bags I buy and mix together, so that you can mix and match to create several flavorful salads.

Lettuce:
I buy the 2/$7 salad bag kits from the grocery store. I usually get kale, broccoli crunch, and chopped, and mix all the different types of lettuce together. After opening the bags, I store the mixture in a container in the fridge ready to go for my next salad! I like these kits because they usually come with little bags of nuts or other toppings that you can add as well.

Veggies I Use:
• Jalapeno peppers
• Red/ yellow /green bell peppers
• Banana peppers
• Mushroom
• Cucumber
• Celery
• Avocado, 1/2 per salad
• Tomato

Sprouts I Use:
• Alfalfa
• Broccoli Sprouts

Toppings I Use:
• Sunflower Seeds
• Bee Pollen Granules
• Mixed Nuts from salad bags
• Salad Crunch Topping
• Crunchy Beets or Snap Peas

Juice I Use:
• Pepperoncini Juice, 1 teaspoon

Cheese I Use:
• Mixed, shredded blend

Sides I Use:
• Cottage Cheese

Dressing I Use:
• Whatever floats my boat!

Loaded with vitamins and minerals, eating a salad a day will also increase the level of powerful antioxidants in your blood. The basis of any salad, leafy greens, offer a huge nutritional benefit.

People who eat salad regularly are much more likely to fulfill their recommended intake of nutrients. Eating a salad every day is healthy because you get vital nutrients, fiber, and good fats.

Happy Salad Making!

XOXO,
Heather Marianna
