One of my favorite things to do when I carve a pumpkin is to cook the seeds and season them for a snack! I love cooking, as we know, but this is a great little fun easy recipe I wanted to share as a celebration of the fall season!
I like things spicy so I use Cayenne Pepper, Salt, and little lemon, but you can really use any seasonings you want for roasted pumpkin seeds.
All you have to do is:
– Preheat the oven to 350° F
– Rinse the pumpkin seeds, and pat dry.
– Toss together seeds and your choice of seasoning ingredients in a bowl with a splash of olive oil.
– Then spread in a single layer on an aluminum foil-lined or parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until toasted.
– Cool completely in pan (about 15 minutes).
It’s as simple as that! Do you have any favorite seasoning blends for roasted pumpkin seeds? Share them with us on Insta @AskHeatherMariannaBlog!
XOXO,
Heather
