Crazy Grocery Store Finds

Today’s post is a funny one, but I just HAD to do it. I don’t know about you, but as grocery prices rise, I’m meal prepping more and planning out what I’m eating more precisely. This not only saves time, but this habit has led me to cruising more grocery store isles and making some fun, new discoveries. This brings me to the topic of today’s post… Crazy grocery store finds.

I don’t know if it’s the pandemic or what (lets always blame the pandemic), but I can’t believe all the funky things I’m seeing at the grocery store these days! There were two specifically that I’ve seen at least 4 times and wondered what they tasted like: Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheese and Flaming Hot Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheese. I honestly could not resist, so I finally gave in bought them to try.

Here are my absolute honest thoughts. As someone who loves traditional Mac ‘N Cheese and Cheetos, I thought these had to be amazing. If you love Flaming Hot Cheetos, then you’d probably like that variety. The flavor was just that… FLAMING HOT! I took two bites, and my mouth was on fire. It really did taste like a bag of the famous chips.

The regular Cheetos Mac ‘N Cheese was definitely better in my opinion; it was extra cheesy and thick. Unfortunately, it was heavy I wouldn’t recommend eating more than ¼ cup. I had a few bites, and it was so hard on my stomach! I don’t blame the pasta though, I’m sure it’s because I’ve been eating super clean and that was the first heavy thing I’ve eaten in weeks!

A few other crazy grocery store finds I found were…

Lays Chicken and Waffles chips. This was a go for me. I haven’t had chicken and waffles yet, but I definitely will be trying them now.
